In a bizarre crossover event that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden sect.

The mission focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana together with several items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
